If what you have works for you, definitely stick with it! The two paths I see for buying this are someone who has never had/has a yoke, or if what you have broke.

Check the clb and crz pages, when that’s happened to me it’s because I didn’t activate something.

@@FlightSimSchool i noticed one of the numbers in the climb page wasnt magenta-ized, that must have bee the trouble, set cruise altitube correctly and now it does activate! Thanx! 🛫

Only CRS1 is needed, and yes it should auto-tune it, if it doesn't you can of course set it yourself. Hope that helps!

The FBW hand flies the best of the two for sure.

@@FlightSimSchool this problem has been discussed on MSFS forums and reported to the Inibuilds dev team but they don't seem to care much about it.

Thanks Pete, I was using the drone cam to get a lot of the external shots. All my wing views are the interior cameras views 1-9 though. For those you should be able to just walk through the cabin door to get to wherever you want for it

Recommending new players FBW to later transition to fenix is the best tip honesty. When i jumped to fenix i thought its gonna be a little difference in detail and realism, but its night and day.

too bad FBW doesn’t support RNAV approach.. might be a bummer. for now maybe inibuild is a go to airplane for beginner.. and it’s also free.

My thought process was that for a beginner to airliners an ILS approach is easier to understand if you’ve done them already in a GA plane, so the fbw is fine to start with since it is much more stable. After that, it’s worth to try the ini for the RNAV approach, since it’s an easy transition.

@@g_pazzini fbw supporting rnav is just a question of time, as the functionality should come into it when the a380 releases somewhat.

And I know the usual counter to that always used to be "well it is free, what do you expect?" but given we've now got the INI version as part of the sim that line isn't the debate winner it used to be.

That’s a good point! I wish there was a way to save profiles for graphics settings because mine are custom and would need a fair bit of tweaking every time I did that though

Hmmm that’s a bit strange, but you should be able to use any other ils approach as well, the concepts and steps should be almost the same

@@FlightSimSchool Everything was good after adding KTTD and KHIO. But when I selected approach ILS 13 R and BTG then selecting load and Ent that's when it goes bad. Now my flight plan shows DOLLA faf to RW13Rmap skipping all of the other points in the flight plan. Also the ILS frequency did not show up. I'm doing this in the C172 G1000 with all the Working Title add-ons up to date. I just don't get what's happening. I also tried this in the Kodiak 100 with the same results.

That’s a great point, I had never really noticed it before. I never really look over at the APP mode once GS has captured. I believe that’s the correct behaviour, but I’m not 100% sure.

Is there anything in particular you’d like to see with the Comanche? I’d love to make more content with it but I’m not sure where to go with it from here. Maybe an NDB approach?

The click points are very close together, I often accidentally turn the big one when I want to turn the little one. I think that might be what’s happening to you

@@FlightSimSchool Unfortunately, it is not the case. I have the inner knob blue highlighted in flashing blue when it is selected (with assisted option ON); I can see and hear the inner knob turning when I move my mouse wheel. But it does not show the 2nd waypoint menu no matter what I do. The NAV and CRS knobs are working fine. I restarted the flight sim many times, and I cannot get the knob working. I don't know if it is some controller conflict. I use Turtle Beach Velocity Flight Stick with all default settings and cannot see why conflict should occur. It is very frustrating getting stuck with simple things like this. This is one of many things with MSFS that ruins the experience as a beginner.

Ah, it's because you're using the new experience for interacting with the controls. I'd suggest setting it to Legacy mode, it's much easier to interact with everything. You'll know you'll have it set correctly when you don't get the blue flashing when hovering over controls.

@@FlightSimSchool Thanks for the suggestion. But the inner knob issue persists even after I change it from lock to legacy mode. I will have to search the MSFN forum to see if anybody else has had the same problem. Also, I will need to read the 600+ pages Garmin 1000 pilot's manual.

@@FlightSimSchool Ok I got caught out by the flashing Origin-____ and tried hopelessly to change it. I missed out on the subtle detail that I have to move the flashing cursor to the field below. It is not intuitive to use.

You can’t save the flight plan to reload it later once you’re in the plane, unfortunately.

I have been thinking about it, although there are already plenty of great tutorials for it from other creators!

If you even so much as press the brakes whatsoever it'll disengage, it could be your rudder pedals that are a bit noisy and need more deadzone? Also good to remember that even up to auto brake 3, it doesn't apply a lot of force, so I'd try with MAX and see what happens.

@@FlightSimSchool I have paid for Navi graph subscription and made a test flight plan through Simbrief and it works fine up to now, I really do like this sim but it is very frustrating, anyway thank's for the concern

@@FlightSimSchool oh my It's f up again had to reset windows this time because items where missing from regestry, so have done a clean install W10 amd dowloaded MSFS now just waiting for 75 gig of content to install and we are back in the hunt, never give up!

Oh man. Hopefully once everything is re-installed you’ll be set. I have heard a few people say that full clean installs have helped them with crashes to desktop.

@@FlightSimSchool Yeah well these things happen especially with a PC but I have Xbox series X which I do not like as much as the PC version as the keyboard works same but the mouse is completely diferent and too slow also their are little 3rd party addons such as my latest which is Passenger2 which if you havn't already checked out you should it's way ahead of Air Hauler 2 and Self loading Cargo of which I have both and also Gsx Pro !

Hi Amir, I am working on a comparison video for all the A320s :) I’m just giving the FBW team a week or so more to deliver their FMS v2 so that it’s as relevant as possible.

I only have the auto generated subtitles unfortunately. Feel free to ask any questions though :)

You don’t absolutely need to enter the airway, you can just put the waypoints and it’ll still be fine.
